Well, I am certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, which I think is the single most important thing the patient should and usually do want to know as such I am a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons. I think the most important thing also for patients to ask is does your surgeon have privileges to do the procedure they are considering and talking about on you in a local hospital because that also means they have passed the rigors of that hospital’s review board and for all the procedures that I do, the answer is yes I have full privileges at Scripps Memorial Hospital in La Jolla and I am of University of California, San Diego as a clinical professor.
